Do I need Creator Cloud to edit MIDI?
No. The full local editor, playback, transforms, recovery draft, compatibility check, and MIDI export stay free without an account.
What does AI MIDI actually generate?
It continues a phrase, rewrites it, or adds a harmony line for up to 64 selected notes. Each result is reviewed before delivery, uses one monthly credit, and never changes your file until you apply it.
Is my MIDI uploaded when I use the free editor?
No. Local parsing, editing, preview, and export happen in your browser. A file is sent only when you explicitly save it to a cloud project or submit selected notes for an AI MIDI edit.
Can I cancel, and what happens to my projects?
Cancel renewal at any time; access continues through the paid period. Your account stays available, and the free editor keeps working. See the refund policy for charge questions.
Choose a plan by where the work lives
Use Free when one browser and exported files are enough. The complete local editor, player, focused transforms, Undo history, recovery draft, compatibility check, MIDI download, and bundled-SoundFont note render to WAV or MP3 do not require an account or payment.
Choose Creator Cloud when you need the same project on more than one session, a server-side version history, or constrained AI note generation. Creator Cloud stores up to 50 projects and 25 MB per account, with a 512 KB limit and up to 100 versions for each project.
How Creator Cloud billing and AI credits work
Creator Cloud costs $7.99 monthly or $69 annually in USD. Checkout opens through pay.yito.ai and Stripe; EditMIDI receives the resulting entitlement status but does not store full card details.
An active plan includes 60 AI MIDI transformations for each monthly credit period. One completed continuation, rewrite, or harmony job uses one credit. A provider failure releases its reservation, and generated notes remain a preview until you apply them.
Offline Pro is separate and not available yet
Offline Pro is a planned signed desktop build with a $24 one-time target price. It is not included in Creator Cloud, cannot be purchased today, and joining its waitlist does not create an order or payment obligation.
