Drop the export into a DAW
- Download the edited file. The name starts with editmidi- so it is easy to spot in a DAW project.
- In FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic, create or open a MIDI track and import that .mid onto the clip or arrangement.
- Audition the destination instrument. MIDI is instructions, so the sound comes from the synth you attach in the DAW.
Set MIDI note velocity from 1 to 127
Move the velocity control to the value you want, then apply it to every positive note-on event in the file. A value near 1 is very light and 127 is the maximum MIDI velocity, although the audible response depends on the receiving instrument.

Preserve note releases and other events
Zero-velocity note-on events can represent note releases and are not changed. Note-off events, timing, tempo, controllers, program changes, pitch bend, track names, channels, and ordering also remain untouched by the velocity operation.
Preview dynamics without assuming final sound
Use the browser synth to compare the change and Undo to restore the complete previous velocity state. Velocity can affect loudness, attack, timbre, or nothing at all depending on the target instrument, so confirm the export in the sampler, synth, or DAW that will play it.
