EditMIDI is built for musicians, producers, teachers, students, and developers who need to inspect or change a MIDI file without opening a full DAW.
Local-first by design
MIDI parsing, editing, preview, undo, and download happen in the browser. A file reaches our cloud only when a signed-in Creator Cloud customer explicitly saves a project.
Honest scope
The browser player uses a small preview SoundFont with an oscillator fallback. Offline apps, collaboration, and final WAV rendering are not part of the current product. Local 30-second audio drafts exist; cloud AI wrappers and paid full-song unlocks stay on the waitlist until quality is honest.
